Bio – Francesca Valentini

Francesca is a Zurich-based junior researcher with a wide political and legal background. Francesca holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Diplomatic Affairs and two Masters´ Degrees respectively in Human Rights (University of Kent) and International Environmental Law (University of Utrecht). She has also completed a number of advanced trainings in mediation, participative methods and psychology.

She has a varied professional background, having worked as a consultant both for public actors such as the Swiss Federal Agency for Development and Cooperation, global movements such as Blue Peace and the World Youth Parliament for Water, law firms, social enterprises and start-ups.

She also gathered relevant experience in European Affairs, having worked as an intern both at the European Parliament (ENVI & AGRI Committees) and at the European Commission (DG ENV).
