Sara has been working as a researcher for environmental and sustainability projects since 2014. Since 2016, she is affiliated with the Central European University in Budapest as a research assistant on a Horizon 2020 project, focused on understanding the potential of nature-based solutions to solve societal challenges (Naturvation). She has been focusing her research on the socio-cultural values and benefits of urban nature, as well as on the evaluation of these benefits. Her experience also extends to the assessment of urban ecosystem services and air quality modelling.
Sara holds a Master degree in Environmental Management and Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Technology from Porto University.
