On the basis of the European Commission’s Communication of November 2016 on Agenda 2030, the Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) was set up and took up its work in December 2017. SDG Watch Europe was appointed to the MSP, with Leida Rijnhout as member of the platform itself and Ingeborg as member of the Management Committee. The MSP is currently working on its input to the Commission’s ‘Reflection paper’ on the SDGs, to be finished by October 2018.

The  MSP was set up to “support and advise” the Commission and all stakeholders involved on the implementation of the SDGs at Union level.
