On nomination by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Louis was appointed on 26th July 2017 as Member of the UN Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) from 1st January 2018 until 31st July 2021, in his personal capacity. The members of CEPA meet annually at the UN Headquarters in New York. The Committee is responsible for supporting the work of ECOSOC concerning the promotion and development of public administration and governance among Member States notably in relation to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and in support of the implementation and progress reviews of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Ingeborg was keynote speaker at the conference “How we can achieve the SDGs? – The way to sustainability”, which took place on 1st June in Vienna. The event was a contribution to the European Sustainable Development Week 2017. Programme
For German GIZ, Ingeborg contributes to workshops this summer in Georgia on how to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals and Regulatory Impact Assessment.
